Width: 12 1/2 inches Height: 9 inches Item #CIC0027 Description: A great old Cauldron perfect for group workings. It has an excellant patiena on the outside, but there is rust and pitting on the inside, as with most Cauldrons this age. There is a "4G" on the bottom (4 gallons). Legs have been worn away and the Cauldron sits on the belly of the pot. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890. Previous owner has seasoned the pot, though light rust can be seen on the inside. . It has either an "F" or "L" and the number "8" on the bottom. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890. It has a 7 inch crack on the side and a hole has been drilled in the bottom. Both of these are fixable by a skilled welder. Legs have been worn away and the Cauldron sits on the belly of the pot. There is rust on the outside and also on the inside with some pitting , as with most Cauldrons this age. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890. There is rust on the outside as well as the inside, with some minor pitting on the inside. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890. It has the figure eight handle on the side of the pot used for tipping the pot. There is light rust on the inside and the outside. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890. The outside has spots of rust and the insite has rust with minor pitting. It has an "8" and a "G" on the bottom of the pot. It does have a straight "gate mark" on the bottom indicating it was made prior to 1890.
